Efficient Propane Fireplaces

Direct-vent fireplace creates the illusion of a site-built fireplace, but offers the convenience and operating efficiency of a modern gas system. A propane fireplace is a simple, clean, cost-efficient alternative to a wood-burning fireplace.

Propane fireplaces are easy to use. They are hooked to a propane gas line from a propane storage tank. All you need to do is flip a switch to start the electronic ignition, and the flames begin immediately.

Propane is Efficient and Effective

Propane fireplaces offer Fireplace Efficiency (FE) ratings of over 90%, compared to the 15% FE of wood-burning fireplaces. Not only do propane fireplaces beat out wood burning fireplaces, they also deliver five to six times the heating capacity of electric fireplaces.

Electric fireplaces don’t offer real flames like gas powered fireplaces do.

The only maintenance required with your propane fireplace is a yearly safety inspection to inspect gas lines for leaks or other issues that would cause it to not work properly. Keeping up on these inspections is important, but don’t require much effort on your part.
